Signing in, and adding your team

Updated 25 October 2026

Everyone who opens Marvo has their own username and password. Usernames can be an email address.

Your first sign-in

  1. Open your Marvo address and enter the username and the temporary password you were given.
  2. Marvo asks you to choose your own password (at least 10 characters, not your username, not a common password). Pick one you do not use anywhere else.
  3. After that, you sign in with your username and your own password.

If you get the password wrong five times, that username is locked for 15 minutes. The message stays the same (“Wrong username or password”) so nobody can tell whether a name exists.

Add someone (owners)

  1. Open Settings > System > Users and press Add user.
  2. Enter their username, a temporary password (tell them privately) and their role.
  3. They sign in with it and are asked to choose their own straight away.

From the same list you can disable someone (they are signed out at once and cannot sign in), reset their password (they choose a new one next time) or delete them. Their past activity stays in the Activity log under their name. There must always be one active owner, and you cannot lock yourself out.

Change your own password

Open Settings > System > Your account, enter your current password and the new one, and press Save password.

Forgot your password?

Ask an owner to reset it from the Users list. If you are the only owner, ask your Marvo contact: they can reset it from the server for you.
