What Marvo stores

Updated 25 October 2026

Marvo runs in your own install, not in a shared database with other customers. What it holds:

  • Calls: the transcript, the AI’s outcome label, the contact details the person gave, cost and timing, and the recording address if your phone line records.
  • Leads and campaigns: the numbers and fields you imported.
  • Settings: your limits, scripts, Knowledge, departments and so on.
  • Users: usernames and hashed passwords (the password itself is never stored).
  • Activity log: who changed what, and when.

Keys and connections

API keys and mailbox passwords you enter in the dashboard are stored encrypted and are write-only: Marvo never shows them again. The encryption key is kept with the install; keep it backed up with your data.

Backups

Backups are part of how your install is hosted. Ask your Marvo contact how often yours run and where they are kept.

On the managed plan

Only fixed-kind problem reports leave your install; see Your service plan. On the self-managed plan nothing does.

You decide whom you call and what you record. Data-protection, recording-consent and calling rules differ by country. Marvo gives you the controls (limits, do-not-call, country lock, permission age) but does not give legal advice or promise compliance: check with a qualified adviser.
