Updates and your version
Your version appears at the bottom of the navigation, and under Settings > System > Updates.
How updates arrive
Marvo updates are pulled by your own server: nobody connects in. Each release is signed, and your install checks the signature before using it. It backs up your data, installs, checks the app is healthy and rolls back by itself if it is not.
Your controls (owners)
- Which releases: Stable (recommended), Beta (early releases) or stay on one month’s releases.
- How: Automatic inside a maintenance window you set (days, from, until, time zone) or Ask me first. An update never installs while a call is live.
- Approve and install now: appears when a release is waiting.
The panel shows the last result (installed, rolled back, failed or refused). A failed or rolled-back update also appears in the bell for a few days.
Updates only ever add to your data; nothing is removed. If your install is on the managed plan, your Marvo contact sees whether updates succeeded; see Your service plan.
