Test mode and going live

Updated 25 October 2026

Test mode

Marvo starts in test mode. The top bar says Test mode and Home says “calls go to your own number only”. In this mode:

  • only the numbers you list under Settings > Calling and compliance > Numbers allowed in test mode can be dialled (one per line, with country code);
  • a campaign only dials leads whose number is on that list; everyone else stays waiting, untouched;
  • an opt-out heard on a call is flagged but your own number is never put on the do-not-call list.

Use it as long as you like to test your call types, wording and phone line.

Before you go live

Home shows a Before going live checklist (voice platform connected, a phone line attached, a test call answered, a daily budget set, and the compliance items you confirm yourself). Compliance items are not detected automatically: you tick them only when they are true, and each tick is recorded in the Activity log. Rules for calling differ by country; ask a qualified adviser. This help center is not legal advice.

Going live

  1. Open Settings > Calling and compliance.
  2. In Mode, press Go live and type the confirmation it asks for.
  3. The top bar changes to Live. Campaigns can now call real leads, inside your limits.

Back to test mode

The same page has Return to test mode. Use it whenever you want to be sure nothing can reach a real person, for example while changing a script. Stop all (top right) also halts every new call immediately; see Stop all and the do-not-call list.
